Male fashion part.II

More than a week ago, I started talking about male fashion, here I am bringing you the main kind of trousers you'll find in stores this winter.

Hace ya más de una semana, empecé a hablar sobre moda masculina, aquí os traigo los tipos principales de pantalones que os podéis encontrar en las tiendas.

Jeans - Vaqueros

Regular:

The original cut that dates back to the times of the far west cowboys.
For my liking, the best male regular jeans are those from Ralph Lauren quite expensive  around 120,00€ but totally worth it!

Regular es el modelo que  ya llevaban los vaqueros en el lejano oeste. Para mi gusto, para este tipo de corte, los vaqueros que mejor sientan son  los de Ralph Lauren, caros alrededor de 120,00€, pero merece la pena hasta el último céntimo, duran años  no se estiran demasiado y no se caen de color.

Skinny:

This has been a female trend for so long now, around 4 years, and it has merely hit male sections. I happened to like this trend the most. Just because I like tall skinny men. :) I dunno, I have a thing for this one.

Como tendencia en moda femenina llegó para quedarse hace  5 o 6 años.  Hace 2 empezó a verse para hombres. Esta es el corte que a mí más me gusta, es más moderno que  el regular . Perfecto para chicos altos y delgaditos.

Carrot:

The result of mixing regular jeans on the upper part and skinny on the lower... I haven't seen this much around my city but here, they are all quite conservative... It is something new and different as long as it is used with precaution.

Es el resultado de mezclar los anteriores patronajes.  Regular en la parte de arriba y  skinny en la parte de abajo. Esta tendencia es del año pasado, no la he visto demasiado aún en España, porque aquí somos todos muy conservadores, es algo completamente nuevo y está bien siempre que se utilice con precaución , sin llevar la parte ancha demasiado ancha y hasta la rodilla.

Trousers - Pantalones:

Chinos:

Made basically from cotton, they were an essential part of the British army during the conquest of India. After, they were used on women during WWII as a part of the uniform of those who helped working in factories while men fight overseas.
During the 70's Harvard male students popularized it's used as a piece of sport clothing instead of wearing suits and ties.

Hechos principalmente de  algodón, eran la prenda esencial en los uniformes del ejército británico que conquistó las Indias. Después, estos pantalones se utilizaron como piezas del uniforme de las mujeres que se incorporaron a trabajar en las fábricas durante la 2ª G.M.  En los años 70, los estudiantes masculinos de Harvard escogieron esta prenda como  alternativa al traje  y la corbata; desde entonces, constituyen la base de un look sport. 

Chinos + Carrot = Chirrot?

Just as it happens with jeans, there is a new silouhette "carrot cut" that introduces this timeless piece into XXII century.

Tal y como pasa con los vaqueros, la silueta carrot introduce a los chinos en el siglo XXI, haciéndolos más atractivos a jóvenes que de otra manera no se los pondrían.

5 pocket:

(Pull&Bear 25'99€)                                                      (H&M 19,95€)

Trousers that are not chinos nor jeans and are not suit matching, regular trousers that nobody seems to be wearing, characterized by the fact that hace 5 pockets: 2 on the back, 2 on the front and a smaller one also on the front with coins size.

Son los  pantalones también de algodón que no son chinos. Poseen 5 bolsillos, 2 atrás y 3 delante; siendo uno de los que va delante del tamaño más pequeño para meter monedas. Es una mezcla del modelo básico de vaqueros pero con la tela utilizada en los chinos.
