Hoy os traigo "Joyasdepapel".

They have an online store where you can acquire earrings, rings or pendants or cufflinks. Collections are composed by accessories made from different kinds of paper from recycled to some created and patterned by the author. Papers from around the world highlighting traditional papers from Japan or Egyptian papyrus.

Tienen una tienda online dondepodéis encontrar pendientes, anillos, colgantes o gemelos. Lacolección de Joyas de Papel está compuesta por complementos realizados en todotipo de papel, desde los reciclados hasta papeles creados y tintados por elpropio autor, así como papeles de todo el mundo, destacando papelestradicionales japoneses y papiros egipcios.

Jewels are made from a single piece of paper that's fold over and over until the desire figure is obtained. From origami birds to oriental geishas.

After a laborious autodidactic process on the search of methods to harden papers, every piece is treated in order to get the maximum resistance to water and knocks.

Las joyas se realizan a partir de un único papel quese pliega hasta lograr la pieza deseada, desde las clásicas pajaritas hastacomplejas geishas orientales. These pieces from the basic collection are mainly priced between 12 and 20€. Except for the Geishas figures that can cost up to 35€. payment modes accepted: PayPal Bank transfer, for both methods there is a free dalivery for Spain. Pay on delivery plus additional 5€.

Talking about retailer's Zara, the main one, launched at least a pice of lace shorts quite trendy, last year, and I have spotted (before the sale-ing time) another one.
Pull & Bear also had some lace stuff, but again it seems to have all vanished from shelves and trestles.

Si hablamos de retailers Zara, la más importante, en su colección resort del año pasado ya sacó unos shorts de encaje negro. Y este invierno, fugazmente, vi otro par que desapareció cuando empezaron las rebajas.

Pull & Bear, en su colección fiesta del pasado 2011 también incorporo los tops, shorts y faldas de encaje, aunque en rebajas no he visto nada. Imagino que las retirarían haste primavera.

To end up. And the main inspiration to find more about this trend was this image, from the DIY's blog "A pair and spare" If you happen to find that full lace shorts or skirt don't seem to fit your legs, it is a nice cheap way to incorporate such a lovely and girly trend.

More than a week ago, I started talking about male fashion, here I am bringing you the main kind of trousers you'll find in stores this winter.

Hace ya más de una semana, empecé a hablar sobre moda masculina, aquí os traigo los tipos principales de pantalones que os podéis encontrar en las tiendas.

Jeans - Vaqueros

Regular:

The original cut that dates back to the times of the far west cowboys.
For my liking, the best male regular jeans are those from Ralph Lauren quite expensive around 120,00€ but totally worth it!

Regular es el modelo que ya llevaban los vaqueros en el lejano oeste. Para mi gusto, para este tipo de corte, los vaqueros que mejor sientan son los de Ralph Lauren, caros alrededor de 120,00€, pero merece la pena hasta el último céntimo, duran años no se estiran demasiado y no se caen de color.

Skinny:

This has been a female trend for so long now, around 4 years, and it has merely hit male sections. I happened to like this trend the most. Just because I like tall skinny men. :) I dunno, I have a thing for this one.

Como tendencia en moda femenina llegó para quedarse hace 5 o 6 años. Hace 2 empezó a verse para hombres. Esta es el corte que a mí más me gusta, es más moderno que el regular . Perfecto para chicos altos y delgaditos.

Es el resultado de mezclar los anteriores patronajes. Regular en la parte de arriba y skinny en la parte de abajo. Esta tendencia es del año pasado, no la he visto demasiado aún en España, porque aquí somos todos muy conservadores, es algo completamente nuevo y está bien siempre que se utilice con precaución , sin llevar la parte ancha demasiado ancha y hasta la rodilla.

Just as it happens with jeans, there is a new silouhette "carrot cut" that introduces this timeless piece into XXII century.

Tal y como pasa con los vaqueros, la silueta carrot introduce a los chinos en el siglo XXI, haciéndolos más atractivos a jóvenes que de otra manera no se los pondrían.

Trousers that are not chinos nor jeans and are not suit matching, regular trousers that nobody seems to be wearing, characterized by the fact that hace 5 pockets: 2 on the back, 2 on the front and a smaller one also on the front with coins size.

Son los pantalones también de algodón que no son chinos. Poseen 5 bolsillos, 2 atrás y 3 delante; siendo uno de los que va delante del tamaño más pequeño para meter monedas. Es una mezcla del modelo básico de vaqueros pero con la tela utilizada en los chinos.

Burgundy is a trend I've been spotting here and there on the net. I have to say is one of my fave colours due to my incapacity to look ok in chocolate brown clothes.

Granate es un color que está generando una tendencia no prevista este invierno y se está empezando a ver aquí y allá en diferentes blogs y páginas de moda. Estoy encantada porque el marrón chocolate me queda mal y siempre es la alternativa al negro... este año parece que no!

A principios de otoño, me hice en Primark con este vestidito de raso por 11€

The real trendy stuff is using a pair of burgundy trousers:

Lo mas in es llevar unos pantalones granates!

So I went shopping the other day and I found a pair of burgundy super skinny jeans at Primark (Christmas Collection) for 13€! nuts, I know... 'cause the other alternative was paying like 30€ for a Zara pair of capri chinos... I like this option better.

Así que me fui de compras y sin esperarlo me encontré en Primark unos vaqueros super skinny granates (Colección de Navidad) por 13€. Es una locura lo de esa tienda, tienen piezas clave a unos precios, irresistibles. Mejor! La otra opción era que me clavaran 30 por unos chinos largo capri... no me apetecían demasiado.

This is hoy I am going to rock them. With golden and camel stuff. Or a light blue cashmere long jumper from Joseph and brown heels... Yeah too much black everywhere. This colour also goes great with dark red and gray... too many options no to get bored!

Así me los pondré, con un cardi dorado (lo sé muy burbuja de cava) y una sandalias parecidas de Zara! Camel y dorado. Otra opción que barajo es combinarlo con un jersey largo azul claro y unos zapatos corte salón marrones. Aunque al granate, le van también bien el verde botella y el gris. Por supuesto el negro! Pero ya hay demasiado!

Long time ago, I talked about my very first It girl Miroslava Duma and after I introduced you to Viviana Volpicella. Now I am bringing you another brunette, a brit this time. Her name is Louise Roe.

Hace tiempo ya, os hablé de la primera It Girl de inspiración, la rusa Miroslava Duma y después a Viviana Volpicella. Ahora os presento a otra morena, esta vez británica. Se llama Louise Roe.

I stumble upon her, thanks to the MTV pseudo reality series "The city" (an spin off from The Hills) she worked as a backstage presenter for... Elle or something like that, during Olivia Palermo's internship there.
Anyways I kinda hooked on her accent, plus no doubt she's a real beauty with style and inner glamour.

La conocí gracias a la serie de pseudo telerealidad "The City" de MTV (Spin off de The Hills) donde trabajaba para algunos segmentos web de Elle mientras Olivia Palermo hacía prácticas en la revista (o algo así, no me acuerdo)

For the past two years she has been hosting "Plain Jane" for MTV. As well as working for various fashion magazines.

Las últimas dos temporadas ha presentado el programa del canal the CW "Plain Jane" (en España se emite a través de MTV). Al mismo tiempo trabaja para diferentes revistas de moda.

She graduated with a first class honors from Durham University with a degree on English Literature. She was born in Surrey in 1981. She has worked as a model occasionally. She arrived at the fashion world after having to cover for her boss while she was interning at a bridal magazine. Right after she did that, the called her to join another TV program.

Es licenciada con matrícula de honor, en literatura inglesa por la universidad de Durham. Nació en Surrey en 1981. También es modelo esporádica. Llegó al mundo de la moda mientras hacía prácticas en una revista de novias, y tuvo que sustituir a su jefa en una entrevista en televisión y al acabar la llamaron para quedarse.

Only a few time have I written anything about male fashion, decided it was time for a change. And I am beginning now. This series will go through the basic trends for men this winter season.
And as you can see I am starting with shirts.

Poquitas veces he hablado sobre moda masculina, he pensado que es hora de hacer un cambio. Empiezo ya!! En esta serie de posts trataré de enseñaros las tendencias básicas en ropa de hombre para este invierno.

Como véis empiezo por camisas.

En las tiendas encontraréis una gran cantidad de ellas, pero qué se lleva?? Dejadme que os guíe.

Mao neck shirts - Camisas cuello Mao.

It's needless to say that this kind of neck dates back to Mao Tse Tung uniform neck. The edges can be either round or pointy. It is a fresh alternative to the classical shirts.

It doesn't matter if it has checks, stripes or it's a plain shirt. I would say, alway in light pastel colours. I am not a fun of dark colours, maybe navy blue but that's all. I find black shirts quite tacky, not to say anything about neon colours one. Be classy please!

No hace falta decir que recibe el nombre de los cuellos del uniforme de Mao Tse, los cuellos pueden ser redondeados o cuadrados. No importa si llevan cuadros, rayas o son lisas. Para mi gusto siempre en colores claros. Azul marino o verde oscuro, quizás granate (color más complicado) pero nada de negro, ni colores neón y siempre más de un color más claro que la chaqueta , cardigan o jersey. Por favor, nada de horteradas.

El cuello de toda la vida, italiano, para más señas. Estas son las más fáciles de encontrar, este año la tendencia es abrochada hasta arriba,y puede ser agobiante, imagino, pero el efecto estilizador es evidente.

Si elegís una camisa vaquera... por favor, con vaqueros no... los 80 volvieron (pero no tanto) y se han vuelto a ir. Mejor con chinos o pantalones de pana.

Those shirts will go with anything from a cotton sweater to a woolen jacket. There are many options available, different materials, types of necks and colours.

Las camisas que os muestro van con todo, desde sweaters de algodón, jerseys de lana o cardigans. Hay miles de combinaciones , cuellos y colores donde elegir.

Poco después de fundar su maison el señor Ralph Lauren, fue el encargado de diseñar el vestuario de la película "El Gran Gatsby". Ahora que un remake , interpretado por DiCaprio, va a ser lanzado Ralph Lauren echa una mirada atrás a la época más glamurosa de la historia de la moda. Los "Felices años 20"

The collection is überfemenine, exquisite. Mixing pailletes low rise cocktail dresses and shimmery long dresses with feathers. An homage to the 20s and 30s with architectural cuts, soft colours palette and luminous materials along with intrincate beadwork. Platform shoes and embroidered clutches.

La colección es überfemenina y posee una exquisitez digna sólo de esta casa. Mezclando, vestidos cocktail de pailletes (lentejuelas) junto con largos vestidos de raso y plumas.

Es un verdadero homenaje a los años 20 y 30, para lo que utiliza patrones de corte arquitectónico, una paleta de tonos pastel y materiales luminosos . Todo conjugado con un intricado trabajo con abalorios.

I think this is going to be The Collection of the spring, though other maisons may have a bigger blast everywhere due to promotions and stuff. The daylook part of the collection will be post in a second hand out soon.... What do you guys think of it so far??

Creo que esta será La Colección de esta primavera. Otras casas, seguramente causaran más impacto en la prensa, gracias a las campañas de promoción o a pertenecer a gigantes multinacionales de la moda. Pero la calidad de esta es simplemente increíble. Estoy preparando una segunda parte con los diseños para el día. Os enseñaré pronto.

Esta es mi falda nueva de Primark. (Primark = paraíso para prendas básicas de día a día)

It cost 11€ And the colour just goes with anything pink, blue, brown or dark red.

Me costó 11€ . El camel va bien con un montón de colores: rosa, azul, marrón, granate...

With heels, flats or boots. It is an extremely versatile piece. It also has pockets on the sides, quite useful to carry your smartphone, everywhere :)

The ultimate pairing? Black, black, black! I just happen to love black and I would wear it all year round with almost any colour.

La puedes combinar con zapatos de tacon, bailarinas o botas. Es una pieza extremadamente versátil. Además, un plus: los bolsillos a los lados. Para meter el smartphone y no perderlo por casa.

Lo combinaré con: Negro , negro, negro. Me encanta el negro, llevaría algo de ese color todo el año, va con casi todo.

The very best? of Versace for H&M

Buenas! ¿Qué tal?

Those few items are what I would buy, had I had money and lived in one of the cities with selected H&M stores. The collection, is just so Versace, those colours, and prints... Too I'm from Miami kind of clothes, too tacky for my liking. No offense Mrs. Versace.

Estos son los pocos artículos que me compraría si tuviese dinero y viviese en una de las ciudades con tiendas H&M seleccionadas. La colección es lo que me esperaba, muy Versace. Muy... soy de Miami, demasiado hortera en general. Pero Versace es conocida por eso, los prints (estampados, perdón) los colores... un abuso para mis retinas.

However these two dresses, yeah I would gladly hoard them in my way too much stuffed wardrobe. Eternal pieces with nice clean cuts, and shinny colours. Summery stuff for the winter. All year round wereable type of clothes. Feel free to send me a gift if you happen to feel like it.

Pero estos dos vestidos... sip, con gusto los acumularía en mi armario. Me parecen un par de piezas que pueden ser eternas, cortes limpios y colores vibrantes. Rollo veraniego para el invierno = tipo de ropa ponedera todo el año. Si os sentís generosos, podéis mandarme un regalito, os lo agradeceré.

What about the rest? There are skirts, fringe dresses, blouses, shoes, bags and some other accesories. Nothing really pretty or stunning... at least for my liking, but... who am I? I know nothing.

Speaking of I am not quite convince myself about how it is going to work the collection among the male target (at least in Spain) I find every piece quite unwereable or just too similar to anything random at any other random shop.

De la colección de chico mejor ni hablar.... el target al que va dirigido... no abunda en España, la verdad. Desprendimiento de retina pero rollo mal...

Hey! I am not dead. I am just too busy with work. No social life but for Real Madrid games.

This is one of the latest additions to my wardrobe.

No me he muerto, sólo estoy hasta arriba de trabajo. No tengo vida social, más que salir a ver los partidos del Real Madrid. Esta falda es una de mis últimas adquisiciones.

A See by Chloé metallic skirt from last winter ('10 - '11 season). Yep Since I'm not rolling on it, I like outleting, there's nothing wrong on being not that wealthy. However, glittery pieces are so in this winter and who cares?? I don't live in Manhattan precisely.

Most of these pieces of clothing aren't this season's. However, I am sure it's easy enough to find similar stuff in stores.

La mayoría de la ropa es de otras temporadas menos la falda vaquera. De cualquier manera, creo (estoy convencida) de que no será dificil encontrar prendas similares en cualquier tienda de bajo coste (rollo Blanco, Zara, H&M etc)

I usually change Magrit pumps for a black plain pair... it works just as nice. :) BTW belt's from Primark, I forgot to add it on the collage.
Normalmente en vez de las bailarinas de Magrit, llevo unas de Blanco, negras básicas y todo queda igual de bien! Por cierto, el cinturón es de Primark!

Chanel's Couture collection is always a must in each season. However, excuse me "Maestro" but I see no point on wearing jeggins with such awesome skirts. More than a genius collection, seems like a genious out of ideas collection. Sorry, but I didn't expect jeggins on a couture collection. That's it.

Apart from that, the use of fabrics and cuts are those from Chanel, breathaking, easy, classy and chic. As always in Madame Coco's brand.

I've said it many many times, from this little spot, I am trying to help to spread the word about Spanish fashion around the world. Now is Ailanto's turn. They've come up with a young fresh collection.

I first came across this brand at my uncle´s shop in Madrid the now closed "A quemarropa" And I simply fell for the patterns and the structured cuts of those pieces back in 2007.
Since then I think they are along with Alma Aguilar (and some new designers), the hope of Spanish fashion's future.

They've evolved to the street style. And though this collection did not dig in me at first sight, when you take a closer look you see those brocades, greek dresses so vaporous... and you fall in love inmediately.

I guess I was expecting more vibrant colours, but the patterns... the missoni-esque long dress and cape... mouthwatering!!

Take my hat off again for these brothers.

Just a glimpse is enough to realise this collection has that Ballerina air in every single piece. So soft, light and elegant. Can't you just see Natalie Portman starring "Black Swan" in those clothes?

Minimalistic outfits in beige, which is Hannah MacGibbon's favorite colour. And light weight skirts for summer warm nights. Nice proper clothes that differ from every other collection shown here, away from sun dresses and colour block pieces.

Trend alert: long Skirts

Over the last months, I've been spotting around the blogsphere this trend and it seems it'll be in again next fall.

My advise is to go for a black/camel skirt that you'll also be able to wear during the winter season of 2011.

However, if you cannot resist the temptation of bright colours that's coming ahead fast I leave you some options, the first skirt is from Mango, the other two from Zara.

Designed by "Maestro" Karl Lagerfeld, clothes had the airy volume of outfits for an ideal summer holiday.

There was an easy informality in the smockings, drawstring tunics, and paper-bag-waisted skirts. This house is a little bipolar due to the stewardship between Lagerfeld and Silvia Venturini Fendi. We saw less proper clothes and more boho chic stuff.

I don't know how manyb times must I've told you that seventies are back. This summer more than ever. In fact, Marc by Marc Jacobs collection has a little reminiscence from the fourties.

This colection has an appealing balance between sweetness and sophistication. It goes from sweat shirts to proper clothes (characteristic of these last seasons)

I happen to love the sundresses with colour blocks (like in Prada). But that is not new. I adore Mr. Jacobs. You all know it.

After a couple of pieces it took me back to 1940's and Pearl Harbour with those oriental dresses.

The movement of clothes is art. And that's all I can say.

While Fabio Cannavaro played for Real Madrid, he became image of this Italian house of clothes. And has represented since then the main principles of the brand.

The brand launched its first collection on 1995. On capri. The label bases its ldefinition on 4 principles:
- Authentic Mediterranean Heritage
- Timeless principles of style, comfort and quality.
- A Daschund dog as the logo.
- Advantaged position over the business of luxurious lifestyle.

My thoughts: The quality of clothing is amazing. However, I find their collections to0 Mediterranean-gly stiff and severe. It may be due to the fact that my eye is more acustomed to Polo Brands of clothing for men. But the lookbook lacks of freshness itself, though separately pieces are so remarkably stylish alltoghether, there is something that doesn't cacth my eye.

Nameless post about furniture.

I would really love to like modern furniture. But I don't (At least it doesn't usually dig in me)

Maybe it's because I've never had it around while growing up. I find it impersonal and cold.

While antique furniture has that taste of class and comfort. Of course within it's limits. Too much Louis XVI inside a room is too much, yeah, even for me.

Louis XVI tables are other thing completely, overelaborated and tiring (they make me restless with all those carvings and golden stuff everywhere).
For me the great mix is Louis XVI sofas and armchairs and then, simple clean tables.

Tell me what do you prefer. Hope you like it!

At first, I was excited to see what Rosella Jardini had prepared for this summer collection after having screened this lovely dress, from the summer 2010 collection, by the brand on Gossip Girl's episode 2 of the fourth season.

I was quite opened minded since Moschino never dug in me. And at first sight that cherries dress is rather complicated to be pictured in a peasant.

However, Apart from this few pieces, I found the collection unwearable to say the least. Those hats didn't make sense at all. Seems to me like a Texan going to NY... with all my respects to Texas poblation. The models were too skinny to fullfill those male-ish jeans.

I guess I had just what I didn't want to. Hats apart, the print of those blue dresses and the vibrant yellow skirt, along with the black chanel-esque set are really covetable, though. There were also some bassieres with lace details. But nothing more.

New York Dolls and Yves Saint Laurent as references, his collection has that 70's air that will be fullfilling everything next fall... for better or worst.

This collection was about color. The girls wore gold glitter platforms, and carried clutches or chain-link shoulder bags small enough to fit comfortably in their hands.

There was a satin interlude, and voluminous peasant dresses with a Rive Gauche air.

The seventies have been in the air for a couple of seasons now. You can already find long dresses and denim flares here and there, but none in the materials Jacobs uses (voiles, gauzes, etamines) And none that are half as seductive.

Hope you like it. I do (but you all know how I worship Mr. Jacobs)

Falling Water house

This is one of my all times favorite architectural designs. Quite modern for my taste isn't it?

Everything I know (which is not much more than nothing) about architecture stems from my bossom buddy M. Who teaches me unintentionally all the time.

Though I would never decorate it in such way, I need bright clean spaces to rest properly, the house is just amazing.

I like Lloyd's designs because he tends to create wide interior spaces. He doesn't need walls to change enviroments. He achieves that by building different height ceilings or using little separations.

Hope you like it if you didn't know about it, though I'm sure you did.

Gaga's song was the score of Nicola Formichetti's men runway show for Thierry Mugler during the last Pitti Uomo Milano Fashion Week.

I have to say, it is something so "not me", but still is something for the showbizz.

And both tuxedo cut's are exquisite. Plus, I love the touch of the pinkish wig Gaga's wearing.
The song is so cool if you avoid the giving birth parts that I found quite.... nasty.

Though I have to say they are not my favorite designers, their shows are worth a million.

I take my hat off to Caten brothers, those hats and the ice skate blades instead of heels... awesome! Plus the far-west inspiration....

The complete collection is so cool. Piece by piece you can see they are not complicated, jeans, tartan shirts, capes and furs... but Oh Boy! when they mix them all together... that is what a runway is about! PURE SHOW!!

The army style, seems to be on for next winter... this is a too impressive collection to be shown at the Spanish Fashion week, though Nicolás Vaudelet is French. He is the head of "El Caballo"

The collection is based on army looks made on leather fabrics, Prussian army inspiration hats. Mosqueteer boots in brown leather (I looooove them) and crowns inspired on the beginnings of the Spanish Brand around 1892.

Gamma player was a boutique in Chicago that specialised on emerging designers. Created by Jeff Mills and his wife. However, it seems it's being closed down or has been closed down (the latest news I found are from Sept. 2010). But they both will still be working on limited editions of accesories. And here is the evidence.

I'd say they look a little like any Ray-Ban... at least on the shape.... don't you think?

Steward's collection for Italian Azzaro is just a playful collection for grown up doll-like women.
You know how much I like dresses and after reviewing some collections I have to say that it looks like the colour of the season is white.

And that, that is really screwed up when one of your best female friends is getting married and you cannot use the coulour of the season, of course.
I am happy, I have not seen much about this collection anywhere, so I hope it brings you some inspiration.

Alma Aguilar 2011 Spring Summer Collection

I do perfectly remember watching this collection live on tv. I really admire Alma Aguilar (by now you all should know she is my world wide favorite designer)

And twitting about the blue suit up here, which was the mvpiece of it, wonderful mixture of blue red and flats. Almost the whole collection is thought for flat shoes, and that is something outstanding, we are so used to picturing models in hugh heels, in this collection they are not necessary.

Alma´s dresses are the dream of any girl, romatic but yet modern enough, I couldn't expect less from her.

Why am I talking about her? Because, next Monday she'll be presenting her Autumn - Winter 2011 - 2012 Collection on the Madrid Cibeles Fashion Week, and I wouldn't miss it for the world (online or on tv obviously)

Really looking forward to seeing what she has designed! It wil be a plesure as always! Alma if you have an spare invitation.... I could be there in no time!!

H&M Fashion Against aids 2011

Images of this years Against Aids collection have been shown. I have to say last year's collection was more appealing at least for me.

The most remarkable fact is that it is an unisex collection. This project over the 4 editions has dealt more than 41 million Swedish Krona to various HIV/AIDS International projects by donating the 25% of every piece sold.

The collection will be available from the 28th of April at the Devided section (I have to find out wether it'll be on all stores or only on selected ones, once I know I'll let you know.)

Pucci Spring 2011

Emilio Pucci Spring collection designed by Peter Dundas.

As you can see dresses are amazing, the movement and fabrics, are perfect choices. Natasha Poly looks like a goddess in this chocolate dress.

And still short dresses are nice. However, I am not that sure if materials chosen for those printed trousers (pants) are... I dunno of course, they are correct but... don't they look too much like a woman going to a '70's rave?? With the crochet shirt and all... not sure.
I love turbans so much... I am all for turbans kind of girl...

This boots are..... spechless. And they fit Kurkova just perfecty... she will always be one of my faves!

I found quite remarkable the absence of Pucci's classical prints, using this season soft colours in contrast with Prada's (collection which seems to be on every cover or editorial) I am more of these soft colours and harmony, but I miss Pucci vibrant patterns.

He is the image of Lagerfeld again.

This is so unfair! How can anyone this gorgeous exist?? With John in a pic, it happens that it is complicated to focus on clothes... Quite hard... I am going to try, though :P

I would say, that the collection is basically what Lagerfeld would wear on a daily basis. His classic suits in leather (a must this spring for men and women)

And it also has that Chuck Bass essence... Am I nuts? and seeing Bass-ism everywhere?

Again this collection is more of the same. Sorry. Anyone who has seen The Kaiser more than twice, knows he has been sporting the same looks since forever. It is not ugly or anything (on the contrary, I love the style) but also, it's just same old same old. And that's a little boring.

Hey there! What' up?

Since last year, H&M launched the "Green Garden Collection" I am more concerned and therefore aware of buying organic or less poluting fashion and also talking about it. That, in addition to the fact that Erin Kleinberg's Summer collection happens to dig in me.

I felt like showing you her lookbook.

With Irina Lazareanu as the face of the campaign. (Former best friend of Miss. Moss and former girlfriend of Pete Doherty, whom was Miss. Moss fiancé.... hahahaha) long time no see Irina!

I have to say the only thing new about the collection is that the fabrics are environmentaly concerned... because cloths are same old, same old. I like them, though.

As you can see the Prince of Wales fabric is a constant, and here shoes are nicer...

This is my idea of how a man should be dressed, in a suit or in sport clothes. Still my mouth waters with these shoes. It is quite complicated to find nice shoes for men.

I have to say I was gladly surprised by the military accesories such as belts, boots, the gray jacket up here or the russian army inspiration hat (down there), which you should have bought for this winter... If you have, save it for next. If you haven't, go check the sales!

The choice of tweed for sport outfits it is just lovingly manly and jet delicate. However, I am not sure about the tux section... too much silk for my taste. Though, brocades are awesome!

And yet I adore Prince of Wales fabric in a suit... it is so classy....

He is after Max Azria, one of the most prolific designers.

Launches 2 collections each year for Marc Jacobs, Marc by Marc Jacobs, Louis Vuitton...

Times Magazine has appointed him on 2010 as the most inffluencer designer in the world.
I am always amazed by his designs, but I just want to leave some pics of him wearing kilts and skirts...

Oh! Gosh!! Happy New Year...
I am a mess... but now holidays are officially over... I have loads of work I am drawning into, I am starting to agonize... seriously.

On another subject, there are moments in the life where a girl has to do what a girl has to do...
And after mopping around for a wardrobe organizer for several months, well maybe a couple of years, I found out "Dress Assistant".

I have downloaded the trial version for FREE and so far so good. It is easily usable. You can create outfits, select weather season, save the date when you wore it, and add notes like with whom you were wearing it... The app also includes an option where you can see all your items in an iTunes-way slideshow.

Now, I have to say on the Mac App store it costs 16 bucks (maybe a little pricey)... it is also available on their web for Windows and the price is similar... You can use it on your iphone/iPod/iPad and there is a web version too...

If you are a mess, like me, have way too much clothes and you forget about it... it is a useful app... Moreover, it's like having polyvore on you laptop...

What do you think? Will you be using it?

McQueen Spring 2011

I have to say that McQueen was the opposite of what I like, so extravagant. He was all about art, volumes, movement and architecture but... Not of my taste at all. You know clean, neat, classy stuff is my thing.

Well, as you can see there is something wrong now, because here I am head over heels for a pair of dresses.

The only way to guess McQueen's name is involved in all this are the shoes. Which, nevertheless, are just way too similar to those he designed for the past winter...

What will happen now, will they change the designer or the fashion director??? Or is this the new image of the brand?? Who knows.
